About this space
In the mountains and situated in an eco village ,Alegría Village, this Casita will allow you to be submerged into a heartfelt and caring community. Get to know the community and partake in the activities! Common spaces include The Hive which has a public pool, and is a space to work or to commune with neighbours. As well as the garden and the Yoga Shala. We also have beautiful trails and rivers a walking distance away.
The space
We have a family-shared property with three homes. Soon we will have a large pool and an outdoor kitchen. The long term goal is to have a cafe with freshly made baked goods and specialty drinks.
We have a beautiful 2.4 km hike down toward LEV, which crosses a creek 3 times. We also have a walking path that leads down to the common spaces, making it a 15 minute walk.
I am an avid baker and have been selling baked goods weekly to the community. And I also am a vendor at the Monthly Alegrían markets selling gluten friendly and vegan treats along with specialty drinks.
My husband is passionate about exotic fruit and has collected over 30 exotic fruit trees on our property alone. He is a permaculture enthusiast and would love to share knowledge and provide tours.
Alegría is a community that is growing with many homes under construction. Our own property is set to be done in November. There is no construction on Sundays in the community, and on top of that our property is without construction every other weekend on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Although our community is just beginning, we are thriving with many activities happening throughout the week.
