We are excited to invite you to a 1-hour hands-on Banana Workshop with our special guest, Scott Gallant from Porvenir Design.
📍 Location: Colina de la Paz, Lot 10 Los Altos, home of Linda & Hunter 📅 Date: Friday, September 12 🕖 Time: 7:00 a.m.
During this practical session, Scott will guide us through: • The physiology of the banana plant 🌿 • Best practices for banana care 🍌 • Propagation techniques ✂ • The role of bananas in agroforestry systems 🌳🌾
This will be an interactive workshop—we will chop down and divide large “mama” plants, work with “hijos,” and prepare planting holes with organic inputs. Please bring along your gardening spirit, and if you’d like, machetes or other favorite tools you use in the field.
