The new year has begun, and we are starting off the 2026 ecstatic dance season strong by welcoming Mixwell to Alegria. 🥳 Based in the sacred volcanic highlands of Guatemala's Lake Atitlan, Mixwell blends sounds from around the globe, sharing decades of passionate digging and ethnomusicology - with special focus on Prehispanic, Afrocentric, Oriental and tropical / Caribbean flavors. A staple in the global festival and ecstatic dance scene, Mixwell comes to us fresh off his recent world tour spanning 21 countries to make his Central Valley Ecstatic Dance debut!
