How to eat

Eat raw: Twist out the seed, bite into soft, juicy flesh. Some people prefer to peel the skin to reduce astringency. Make juice, jam, fermented drinks or use in curries or stews. Important: The cashew nut attached to the fruit is toxic when eaten raw! It must be roasted before eating.
