Enjoy turnkey eco-village living in a brand new, fully furnished, unique modern home in Alegria Village. Nestled in the foothills of San Mateo along the serene Machuca River in the Machuca Valley, our home was designed with the micro-climates in mind; improving airflow and harmony with the environment. This one-level home sits on half an acre with plenty of shade, lovely breezes and the most epic mountain views.
The space
The indoor-outdoor lifestyle is enhanced by glass sliding doors all around, allowing you to fully close the space or open it completely. The entire home is screened with mosquito nets, creating a pleasant airflow and letting you enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature at night.
The space includes a one-bedroom with a queen-sized organic mattress, a standing/sitting office desk, fibre-optic internet, washer and a dryer, storage and closet space. The bedroom is separated from the main living area. You must take one step outside onto the patio before entering the main living space.
We have a solar system backup (we are still tied to the grid), so even if the power goes out, the WiFi and several other appliances keep running.
The open-concept kitchen, dining, and lounge area provides a comfortable and modern living space with all the appliances you'll need.
The large washroom includes a shower and plenty of shelving and hooks.
Our home features a spacious patio, ideal for lounging, yoga, or simply taking in the views with a coffee in hand.
Additionally, there is a back patio that can be used for lounging, working out, or other activities.
Guests receive a weekly basket of fresh, organic produce from the community farm.
The community amenities you'll have access to include a large pool, outdoor showers, outdoor communal kitchen, BBQ, and a communal workspace. You will also have access to the yoga shala with weekly workouts and yoga sessions included. There are plenty of community events that happen often that you can also be part of such as weekly women and mens circles and delicious potlucks.
Guest access
The entire property will be yours, including the home and 1/2 acre of land it sits on. It does not include access to inside the Airstream.
