The Sales & Marketing Team, in collaboration with the DRC, has created a new Welcome Package for incoming neighbors at Alegría. Designed as a living document rather than a static PDF, it provides key information and links to the community website, helping new lot owners feel informed and connected. The format ensures the content stays up to date as things evolve.
The FRC and NEI picked up 300 native trees that we got for FREE from ICE for our reforestation project!
Last Saturday, our community gathered for a meaningful tree planting event, beginning with a circle of intention featuring a poem by Mary Oliver and a quote by Wangari Maathai. With shovels in hand and feet in the soil, we planted 22 fruit trees using compost, bokashi, and biochar—while kids and dogs played joyfully. It was a joyful, hands-on morning dedicated to nurturing a greener, tastier future.
Progress Report: 33 homes complete, 15 under construction, and 15 in design review. The DRC and Sales & Marketing team are creating a guide for new lot owners to navigate the design/build process. The DRC aims to keep everyone informed and aligned. 😆
