Description

Okra water is a simple, soothing drink made by soaking fresh okra pods in water overnight. It's a gentle gut tonic, rich in mucilage that supports digestion, hydration, and blood sugar balance. With a splash of lemon or coconut water, it becomes a refreshing, nutrient-packed morning beverage.

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice okra pods into small pieces.
  2. Add the okra to a large glass or jar and fill with cold water or coconut water.
  3. Cover and place in the fridge overnight (or for at least 6–8 hours).
  4. In the morning, strain the water through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
  5. Add lemon juice to taste. Serve chilled.

Notes:

  • Best consumed in the morning on an empty stomach for maximum benefits.
  • Helps soothe the digestive tract and may support blood sugar regulation.
